Opportunity:

Virtual Service Operations is searching for NetOps Specialists to join our dynamic team in  New Orleans, LA. As a NetOps Specialists, you will be responsible for overseeing the infrastructure and network operation by responding appropriately to alerts and events. You will also oversee incident resolution, ensuring appropriate response to escalations. If you have a deep understanding of network operations, including Cisco networking, routing and switching and if you possess excellent problem solving skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate infrastructure repairs including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery. 
• Review root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues. 
• Provide data center support where appropriate. 
• Oversee daily shift activities and document in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure continuity for any outstanding issues. 
• Provide incident notification to Government representatives.  

Requirements

• Must have 7 - 9 years of relevant experience with networking, network operations, routing and switching 
• Must possess at least two of the following certifications: a CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching, CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
• Must possess the Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III Certification 
• Must be within driving distance of  New Orleans, LA or willing to relocate there 
• Must be willing to work onsite
• Must possess an active Secret clearance or above 
• Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
