About us

Holy Cross High School is seeking a director of our award winning Academic Enhancement Program for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have a background in special education and be able to work with students who may have learning, emotional, mental or physical disabilities.

The director holds primary responsibility for providing academic and physical services for students who require additional support to thrive within the school’s core academic program. We are seeking a teacher with superior content knowledge, a track record of providing excellent learning experiences that deepen students’ understanding of multiple literacy concepts, and a commitment to continuously improving their practice through collaboration.

The director will provide intervention services in a small group setting; teach subject matter skills and strategies and effectively communicate with students, parents, school staff, and coworkers. This individual will conduct yearly reviews of the student's Academic Learning Plan (ALP) and work closely with the school team to implement and supervise the student's plan.
