Academic Advising Director directs the academic advising department, its processes, and its advisors. Works closely with academic advisors to ensure that a proactive and high-quality approach is taken with all students advising needs. Being an Academic Advising Director assists Dean or Associate Dean in the preparation and implementation of department wide goals, procedures, and controls. Analyzes existing goals and programs and recommends improvements. Additionally, Academic Advising Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the associate dean. The Academic Advising Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Academic Advising Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     TheSr. Director, B2B Marketing reports to the Chief Business Development Officer. This role will develop marketing campaigns, specifically large focus on events and conferences, that support AP's brand strategy and drive engagement and growth in brand awareness with potential university customers. This position focuses on building AP's reputation while highlighting AP's differentiators and value proposition to new audiences, while also reinforcing the ways AP's mission complements the schools' missions

    Main Responsibilities

    *Develop brand and marketing strategy to target potential new university customers working alongside the business development team to build and increase brand awareness *Customization of the standard pitch deck based upon the specific opportunities (25%of the deck)*Conference Support:oDevelop strategic plan and identify conferences of interest based upon target marketoNegotiate contracts with conference leadsoHandle shipping and set up of all conferences directly or indirectlyoIdentify, negotiate, and handle prep for thought leadership speaking opportunities for:*WebinarsoConference stand-alone opportunitiesoConference opportunities with partnersoConference post-mortem and follow-up *Organize and support Salon Dinners *Support, attend and host "In the Network" conferences/events Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns (content marketing, email, social and other channels) *Collaborate cross-functionally to develop all marketing creative/collateral and optimize the campaigns *Develop and implement various events, customized for different audiences, as appropriate *Manage coordination and implementation of various collaborative speaking opportunities *Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations in partnership with internal stakeholders *Assess, report, and communicate progress/achievements to goals and objectives cross-functionally

    *Generate necessary reports for the executive team *Coordinate with Business Technology team on outside vendor initiatives, as needed

    Job Requirements*Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.*10 years' experience leading customer outreach, reputation campaigns, brand awareness or similar initiatives. *Demonstrated ability to drive engagement and brand awareness.*Demonstrated track record of regular positive interactions with executive-level audiences. *Track record of customer-centric decision-making.*Proven ability to collaborate within a matrixed organization.*Experienced collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator. *Exceptional presentation development and delivery skills; skilled in story-telling techniques.*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).*Self-starter, self-motivated and a team player. *Highly organized with great attention to detail.
