POSITION SUMMARY
The Advising Specialist in Academic Development provides developmental academic advising to ABS/GED, ESOL, SOAR, STEP and Pathway students enrolled in a federally funded Title II programs and IET or career pathway cohorts. This position is also serves as a liaison to the WorkSource Center, and responsible for conducting recruitment and selection processes for contextualized pathways, providing retention activities including the development of individual college success plans, progress monitoring, campus visitations, orientations and program events.
