The SIS Graduate Advising Office is seeking a student office assistant for the spring 2024 semester. The office assistant works closely with the graduate advising coordinator and the office manager to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Graduate Advising team and is expected to have excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of attention to detail and professionalism. Office assistants will be expected to carry out a wide range of functions including:

Greeting visitors, assisting students/faculty/staff with their inquiries, and answering telephone calls.

Performing general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, word processing, and data entry.

Sorting and distributing incoming mail/packages.
-
Creating, maintaining, and organizing office files.
-
Provide project support, under the direction of the Director and the Project Coordinator.
Minimum Requirements:

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
-
Strong sense of initiative, maturity, and a high level of attention to detail.
-
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
-
Experience with MS-Office and Google Apps.
