    Job Description

    The College of Science at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a driven and highly personable individual to join the Academic Advising team. We are hiring an Academic Advisor to serve as an essential guide for students embarking on and continuing their education in the College of Science at the University of Nevada, Reno. As an Academic Advisor you will support incoming first year students, continuing students, and new transfer students to assist them in completing their Bachelor's degree. Advisors are expected to be empathetic, flexible, and patient resources for the students in our college.

    In addition, ideal advisors must be willing to build a strong knowledge base that students will tap into to remain on track in their college career.     Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience OR

    Master's degree and one (1) year of related experience

    Related Experience: In a field related to academic advising or student services
