Academic Support Coordinator jobs in Davenport, IA

As a Support Coordinator at Crescent Electric Supply, you will provide helpdesk support for all users experiencing problems with desktop hardware, software and other computer related technology issues and inquiries.

PRIMARY DUTIES :

• Interview users to collect information about problems and lead the user through diagnostic procedures to determine the source of error.
• Log and track calls using problem management software. Maintain history records and related problem documentation.
• Perform a triage on all incoming requests to ensure the tickets created are routed to the appropriate Tier for resolution.
• Responsible for handling problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to Tier II or Tier III personnel.
• Aid the Server Administrators and Network Administrators in the day-to-day support of the technical infrastructure.
• Creates purchase orders for desktop and laptop equipment. Track assets from purchase to deployment.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of computer software packages, including word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications.
• Familiarity with various hardware and software products.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
