Job Description
The primary purpose of the Peer Support Coordinator is to provide effective coordination to the La Casa, Inc. peer support team as follows:
● Coordinate face-to-face support groups, online support groups, and individual support with La Casa’s Legal Advocate navigating the criminal justice system (e.g. at orders of protection or court).
● Model and uphold Intentional Peer Support (IPS) approach and La Casa, Inc.’s values within program delivery.
● Create regular and consistent opportunities for IPS Co-Reflection for the peer support team.
● Deliver complex direct peer support as well as coordinate support referrals.
● Communicate operational information to the peer support team (which includes, the Director of Support Services and volunteers).
● Communicate peer team information to operations staff.
Working Conditions
· Work hours: Monday- Friday (Some evenings as needed)
· Flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend hours is required.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Criminal Justice or related field required.
· Fluency in Spanish and English.
· A minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with domestic violence.
· Attend continued education training on advocacy based for victims and their children.
· Bilingual in Spanish/English required.
· Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
