Being an Academic Support Coordinator coordinates tutoring for any students needing remedial instruction or English as a Second Language assistance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Academic Support Coordinator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Academic Support Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     As a Full-Time Classified Academic Program Support to the Deans, you will need to be an individual who is high functioning, professional, able to multi-task like a professional juggler, and who possesses strong project management skills. This position supports three full-time Deans by providing administrative and operational support in all facets of academic services.  This role involves managing a variety of tasks related to academic programs, faculty support, student services, and organizational functions within academic services.  The position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication between the deans, faculty, students, and other stakeholders.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., higher education administration or business administration) OR a combination of education and experience commensurate with the position requirements. 
    • Three (3) to five (5) years prior administrative support experience.
    • Strong analytical skills and above-average critical thinking skills. 
    • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to multi-task and project plan complex projects.
    • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Excel).
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
    • Strong emotional intelligence and maturity.
    Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications:
    • Three (3) years of experience in administrative support in a higher education setting.
