    Position Overview: 

    The Media Sales Account Executive role is the perfect opportunity to take your sales career to the next level. Transit advertising in metro areas allows advertising messages to reach the greatest amount of people as they flock to metro areas for work and play.  Prior experience in Media/Radio/TV advertising sales and being local to the Kansas City, MI market is a must.

    • Foster and nurture existing relationships with the existing customer base.
    • Identify new business opportunities, maintain a pipeline of prospects, and develop persuasive proposals.
    • Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and meet/exceed established sales targets.
    • Deliver compelling sales presentations with confidence.
    • Maintain productive client communication to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Monitor competition to continually prospect new account leads.
    • Prepare orders, resolving billing issues, and ensure prompt payments.
    • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
    • Maintain and update the CRM database with complete and current account information and status.
    • Attends regular sales meetings and one-on-one sessions weekly.

      

    The Ideal Background for the Media Sales Account Executive Role ….

    • Knowledge | 3 years of sales experience, preferably media sales, Out-of-Home or transit advertising (plus). Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, business, marketing, or a related field preferred, or a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
    • Results-driven | self-starter who works with a sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills, high intensity, and commitment to the organization.
    • Intellectual & Emotional Intelligence | Ability to think deeply and qualitatively about business problems, breaking down issues and presenting solutions. Strong people and rapport building skills with a positive and personable demeanor.
    • Tech Savvy | MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Social Media Networking Platforms, and working knowledge of web-based CRM systems. NetSuite and ZoomInfo experience (plus).
