Account Executive, Sr. develops relationships with larger and more complex clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses. Being an Account Executive, Sr. drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Additionally, Account Executive, Sr. maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback. Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Executive, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.     Cenla Broadcasting is a privately held Louisiana corporation formed in 1973. It conducts business in radio broadcasting, streaming, event sponsorships, and airport advertising.

    Position overview: We are seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our radio station broadcasting group as an Account Executive. This role requires a passionate and driven professional who will be responsible for growing sales. The successful candidate will play a vital role in generating revenue, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the company’s overall success.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Sales and Account Management:

    • Identify and prospect potential advertising clients and businesses to generate new leads and sales opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with future/existing clients, understanding their advertising needs, and proposing effective advertising solutions.
    • Create compelling and customized advertising packages tailored to clients' goals and objectives.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Manage clients’ needs regarding updating commercials, managing monthly radio schedules, and monthly budgets.

    Work Schedule

    This position is considered salaried, normal working hours are Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM. Work is both office based and in the field.
