Account Executive, Sr. develops relationships with larger and more complex clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses. Being an Account Executive, Sr. drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Additionally, Account Executive, Sr. maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback. Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Executive, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.     The Robert Klatt Agency is a veteran-owned agency.

    Account Executive candidates must have the ability to develop knowledge of the local market, prospect for new business, and use consultative selling techniques.

    This is an opportunity for someone to get in on the ground floor and be mentored by an agent and learn the business. If someone excels and has aspirations, they could have the opportunity to run their own insurance agency.

    Position Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • People skills
    • Empathetic
    • One year of experience in a sales environment, preferably including marketing, prospecting, cold calling, networking, preparing quotes, and delivering presentations
    • Property and Casualty & Life & Health insurance licenses must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
