Account Executive, Sr. develops relationships with larger and more complex clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses. Being an Account Executive, Sr. drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Additionally, Account Executive, Sr. maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback. Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Executive, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.     This is a business-to-business sales position helping employers enhance their benefit plans by offering world class supplemental health and life insurance products to their employees.

    You will be working with our currently contracted school district, local government, and small business accounts, re-opening dormant accounts, as well as developing new accounts, and never pay for a lead. We have the sales system and technology platforms to ensure you succeed.

    Primary responsibilities:
    • Ability to network and work with business owners, CEOs, etc.
    • Successfully develop and deploy sales and marketing strategies with clients and prospects.
    • Demonstrate technical knowledge necessary to communicate our solutions effectively.
    • Demonstrate ability to identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect-specific basis.
    • Demonstrate strategic thinking and innovation based on knowledge of the market, carriers and products, including understanding of important technical/financial issues.
