Account Executive, Sr. develops relationships with larger and more complex clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses. Being an Account Executive, Sr. drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Additionally, Account Executive, Sr. maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback. Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Executive, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.     Key Responsibilities

    • Understand and follow “The VC3 Way”.  This is our set of standards and processes that produce a predictable result for the customer.  You must be aware of and maintain our standards.
    • Successfully develop new accounts in assigned markets
    • Perform sales functions which result in increased utilization of VC3’s products and services
    • Achieve minimum revenue and growth objectives.
    • Develop sales presentations, quotes, and proposals with minimal guidance
    • Prepare accurate and thorough sales and business activity reports


    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    • Experience with professional sales including consultative and solution sales, client needs assessment and sales plan development including business case development, presentations, proposals, closing the sale, & client follow up
    • Strong end user selling and negotiating skills
    • 3 Years selling B2B products or services in a quota-bearing hunting role
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated, & excellent presentation skills
    • Self-initiated, enthusiastic, and driven to succeed
    • Ability to work independently, but also successfully work on a team
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred
    • Solid grasp of networking and client/server architecture concepts
    • IT services/solutions sales experience; any combination of MSP, cloud, VOIP, cybersecurity sales experience and knowledge a plus


    Additional information you will want to know:

    • Travel Requirements: must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to travel when necessary, ability to travel overnight and limited weekends as needed.
