The ideal candidate for this position will have 3 or more years of sales experience working in the Solar and/or Renewable Energy Industry or experience selling Solar or Renewable Energy on behalf of a 3PL, asset based, or non-asset-based logistics provider. This person should be highly motivated, organized, and attentive to detail. Sales Executive candidates will be directly responsible for driving new business by utilizing varying sales techniques. The qualified candidate will be entrepreneurial and should work well outside of the traditional office structure. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop strong professional relationships by identifying key decision makers, determining the best approach either via phone calls, e-mails, and/or face to face customer visits. - Metric expectations to be defined by management.
- Frequent travel to attend industry tradeshows and networking events.
- Understand the customers’ shipping needs, negotiate rates, find pain-points, and provide solutions to help the customer benefit from their supply chain.
- Create unique solutions based on customer needs utilizing our vast portfolio of services.
- Build strong relationships with customers by staying in constant communication to ensure day to day and long-term needs are met while providing an excellent customer service experience.
- Manage customer expectations, while ensuring customer commitments are met, working with internal teams, and executing operational tasks as needed.
- Possess the ability to multitask and work outside of the traditional office environment while maintaining the flow of business.
- Participate in the planning and strategy for the long-term growth and success of the department.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and industry best practices to provide solutions that add value and efficiencies within the customer’s supply chain.

Minimum Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:
- 3 years sales experience working in the Solar or Renewable Energy industry.
- 3 years or a deep understanding of the transportation or logistics industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Passion for sales and customer relationships.
- Entrepreneurial sales approach.
- Driven, enthusiastic, highly motivated, and results focused.
- Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.
- Excellent communication skills, including persuasion and negotiation.
