Account Executive, Sr. jobs in Pennsylvania
Account Executive, Sr. develops relationships with larger and more complex clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses. Being an Account Executive, Sr. drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Additionally, Account Executive, Sr. maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback. Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Executive, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Objectives
- Works closely with Producer(s) to maintain assigned book of business
- Retains client renewals by directing sales and marketing efforts
- Creates new sales opportunities through cross-selling and account rounding efforts
- Also, the Sr. AE manages direct reports, including Account Managers and Associates
High-Level Responsibilities
- Customer Service and Account Management
- Provide producers with support to promote growth and retention goals
- Manage and coordinate the renewal process
- Manage and coordinate claims services with the claims department
- Keep Accounts Receivables current
Education & Experience
- College degree required; Professional Designation is a plus
- Property Casualty Agent’s License (preferred)
- 8 years of insurance experience, multi-line commercial insurance contracts and coverages
- Experience w/ large deductible & self-insured retention (SIR) clients
- Real estate book a plus
- Previous experience with Loss Sensitive programs
