Account Management Director manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Director ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Director sets sales targets and quotas and makes recommendations for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Account Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     We are seeking a team member for the position of Director of Account Management.Reporting to the Vice President of Account Management.

    Summary:
    The Director of Account Management is responsible for leading and growing a portfolio of clients successfully. They work closely with clients to understand their business goals and develop strategies to achieve those goals through paid media advertising.

    Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan, develop and executedevelop paid media strategies and campaigns, including channels such as Display, Video, Meta, Paid Search, Print Advertising, Out-of-Home, etc.
    • Works closely with Insights and Analytics to measure and report on campaign results: This includes tracking key metrics as well as target and industry based insights.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in paid media: This is essential to ensure that campaigns are as effective as possible.
    • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients based on industry trends, data analysis, and best practices.
    • May work with other client agencies to develop assets and integrate digital strategies with overall branding initiatives.
    • Build relationships with agency & media partners: This is important to secure favorable rates and placements for campaigns as well as a key to retention.
    • Train and mentor other team members: This helps to ensure that the team has the skills and knowledge to deliver successful strategies and campaigns.
    Here are some of the skills and qualifications we are looking for in a Director of Account Management position:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in marketing
    • 5 years of experience in paid media & client service; agency experience preferred.
    • Strong leadership and team building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
    • A creative mindset and ability to think outside of the box.
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Time-management, organization and leadership skills.
    • Strong communications and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in reporting to clients, incorporating feedback, dealing with issues and managing expectations in terms of timeframes and budget.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive under pressure.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Experience with a variety of paid advertising platforms, such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn.
    • Knowledge of digital and traditional marketing principles and best practices.
