Project Summary: Join our team as a Deployment and Implementation Global SME for Ecosys Cost Management and iPIMS Cost Management systems. You’ll guide new users to load capital projects and portfolio project cost data to either Ecosys or iPIMS including WBS structure, the standard cost coding structure, estimates, time-phasing, and historical actuals, resolving implementation issues and challenges, and providing post implementation support. As a crucial member of our team, you’ll be responsible for comprehending the end-to-end functionality of the cost management modules and translating cost engineering skills to system processes. This position offers a valuable opportunity to make a significant contribution to the capital projects cost management digital tool implementation initiative within Chevron.
Required:
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or similar disciplines
5-7 years’ experience in Cost Engineering, Project Controls &/or Cost Management
Proven experience in communication roles (preferably in ERP or IT implementations)
Preferred: Experience using iPIMS Cost Management module &/or Ecosys Cost Management
Responsibilities:
Serve as SME in the usage of iPIMS Cost Management and Ecosys
Support project teams in different time zones (could result in meetings outside normal working hours)
Develop continuous integration, deployment, and test strategy
Understand cost engineering principles and the project life cycle
Coordinate/communicate effectively with stakeholders, internal team members, and third-party vendors
Facilitate seamless integration and knowledge transfer throughout the deployment process
Identify and resolve issues and challenges that arise during the implementation process to ensure a smooth and efficient deployment of the cost management tools
Handle multiple projects simultaneously
Support the delivery of training materials related to the cost modules, ensuring effective communication of new enhancements, processes, and procedures
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
