Account Management Director manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Director ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Director sets sales targets and quotas and makes recommendations for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Account Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Market Mentors is a full-service marketing agency serving clients in a variety of industries including (but not limited to) retail, healthcare, banking and financial, insurance, manufacturing, political, and non-profits.  We seek a dynamic, responsible, and customer-focused individual who will serve on our account team.     Are you passionate about working with various clients and managing key accounts? Are you a detail-oriented individual who goes the extra mile to see a client—and your team—succeed?  The Account Director is responsible for serving as a brand manager providing, among other responsibilities, client support, ongoing communication, research, crafting proposals and presentations, and facilitating workflow within the agency. You’d work with a specific group of our great clients.   


    Responsibilities

    • Key account lead for specified clients
    • Drive the strategic plan for managed clients
    • Partner with the account team to oversee client-related work
    • Run client meetings
    • Be responsible for facilitating meeting agendas, recaps, and status reports
    • Generate scope of work and develop sound creative briefs
    • Craft business communications to clients, vendors, and other external stakeholders
    • Proofread and edit client deliverables prepared by other writers in support of your client accounts
    • Work with internal departments to manage in-house creative deliverables, including timelines, deadlines, and presentations
    • Administrative duties include completing status reports and developing thoughtful proposals and presentations

    • Ability to manage and maintain multiple key accounts simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
    • Talent to develop rapport with clients through providing day-to-day client contact, managing the relationship & expectations, and troubleshooting with vendors when necessary
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
    • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with a team in a creative and fun working environment
    • Ability to receive and grow from constructive feedback from the team and clients
    • Exhibit a sense of urgency and a strong commitment to quality
    • Integrity, professionalism, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Understanding of agency capabilities, vision & mission, and utilizing agency resources/tools appropriately and efficiently
    • Extreme proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite


    Hiring Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in communications business administration, marketing/advertising, or related field
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • HubSpot Inbound Marketing a plus
