Account Management Director manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Director ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Director sets sales targets and quotas and makes recommendations for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Account Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job Description

    Wolt is a Finnish technology company and until recently, we’ve been best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their food up or have it delivered by our courier partners.

    However, food delivery was just the start. We don’t want to just satisfy our customers’ hunger, but to deliver a wide variety of products and expand our platform to some cool retail shops, supermarkets, flowers, toys and other exciting products. As the Key Account Management Team Lead, your role is to lead relationships with our top retail and restaurant partners, creating initiatives to boost their sales, coming up with creative ways of enhancing our cooperation and ensuring that your teams take the best possible care of them. Including common marketing activities and campaigns.

    We’re looking for someone that has a real passion not only for delivering exceptional service personally, but also leading teams who are best-in-class at what they do. Existing experience in the retail industry would be beneficial, as would expertise in data-driven decision making; understanding our customers and working through tasks efficiently are both crucial in this position. Strong key account management background is a must-have.

    Job Description

    What you'll be doing

    • Driving and managing growth of our current venues by improving venue performance with strong analysis and high-level consultation.

    • Building long-term retail/restaurant relationships post-onboarding, and being the key communicator between our operations and most important retail/restaurant partners.

    • Cooperating with a wide range of departments to make sure our partners are successful on Wolt.

    • Using data to help optimize venue performance by improving key metrics.

    • Perform frequent quality and satisfaction checks to ensure service standards.

    • Conducting renegotiations with our top accounts.

    • Working closely together with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns together with retail/restaurant partners.

    • Setting KPIs for the local Account management Team and providing performance feedback.

    • Creating a positive work environment that enables the team to develop.

    • Leading by example in terms of demonstrating Wolt values and behaviours.

    Qualifications

    • Solid experience from a previous key account management role.

    • Leadership skills developed in previous management positions.

    • A positive ‘can do’ attitude, awesome self-motivation and the ability to get results.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt tone to suit the audience.

    • Experience from using analytics platforms or strong Excel skills.

    • Structured, detailed and service-oriented.

    • Experience from working with a CRM system is a plus.

    • Fluent in Latvian and English.
