Account Management Manager manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Manager ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Manager may set sales targets or quotas. May make suggestions for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Account Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Our company is looking for a Commercial Insurance Account Manager with strong communication and interpersonal skills. As the Commercial Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to producers in servicing new and renewal business. You must provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to our clients, while offering a high level of support obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing commercial accounts. You, along with the producers, are responsible for developing relationships with your clients and are accountable for the client experience and retention. You are thus required to not only have the in-depth technical insurance knowledge across our many insurance carriers, but you must also have the empathy, communication skills, and intentionality to connect on a personal level. We strive to deliver a WOW experience that leads to lifetime clients.

    DAY IN THE LIFE OF:

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers to ensure long term consistent business growth
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and prospects
    • Respond to client inquires and requests to resolve any related service issues
    • Review commercial applications, policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements for completeness and accuracy
    • Maintain agency management system with both written and verbal communication of all transactions
    • Submit policy changes and cancellations to carriers
    • Receive phone calls from clients and companies regarding insurance, claims, administrative problems, and comply with the request and or refer to producer
    • Maintain a task system to follow up on outstanding requests, correspondence, reports, and overdue items
    • Handling the quoting process from start to finish on new business
    • Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
    • Annual review and analysis of client insurance solutions to validate current solution and update as needed
    • Re-marketing of client accounts with other insurance providers to ensure client has optimal solution
    • Continuing education to maintain insurance license (24 hours every 2 years) and to stay up to date on insurance carrier changes
    • Growth of existing accounts through account rounding and additional coverage options
    • Assist in training new account managers, be a resource to all team members
    • Help with projects and provide support to other team members while they are out.

    • Indiana Property & Casualty insurance license is required
    • 2-4 years' insurance service experience

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
