Account Management Manager manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Manager may set sales targets or quotas. May make suggestions for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Account Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     As a part of our Telecommunications Account Manager team, we strive to give our customers and clients a top-notch customer service experience and a seamless sales process, offering some of the best and most well-known products in the telecommunications industry. Focusing internally, we are looking for the right people who can grow organically with us from a Telecommunications Account Manager position.     Responsibilities And Daily Tasks Of Our Telecommunications Account Manager:

    • Qualify, educate, and complete the sales process directly with customers, based on their individualized needs
    • Manage the entirety of the sales cycle from the introduction of a customer account to closing the sale
    • Respond to any complaints, resolve issues, and effectively answer any questions regarding products/services during closing or rehash of the sale
    • Utilize negotiation skills when recommending new sales opportunities
    • Present any additional discounts, promotions, and/or cross-selling opportunities throughout the sale
    • Facilitate the growth of our customer accounts with other Full-Time Account Executives by hitting all KPI’s on a daily and weekly basis
       

    Desired Skill Sets And Attributes Of Our Telecommunications Account Manager:

    • BA/BS in Management, Communications, Sales, or Entrepreneurship is preferred
    • 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role: retail sales, restaurant industry, customer service, etc. is required
    • Self-Confident and professional and upbeat demeanor
    • Driven and goal-oriented, both alone and with a team
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Discipline and professionalism in adhering to company procedures for sales, customer service, and compliance regulations
