Account Management Manager manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Manager ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Manager may set sales targets or quotas. May make suggestions for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Account Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Buddy's Home Furnishings was founded in 1961 and is a Lease Ownership Company that provides quality brand name products such as consumer electronics, appliances, computers, furniture, and accessories to customers to help enhance their quality of life. Buddy's engages in the lease of household durable goods to consumers on a lease-to-own basis. It operates through 300 stores across the country.

    Manages customer accounts, satisfying company collection and revenue standards; performs inside sales and outside collections; helps maintain appearance of showroom; takes primary role in delivery and pick up of merchandise; may perform managerial functions or duties as assigned by General Manager; demonstrates effective communication and reasoning skills and shows management potential.

    Principal Responsibilities
    Acquire and Maintain Customers
    Basic furniture, appliance, home electronic installation/removal
    Complies with all company vehicle safety standards and documentation.
    Credit/Customer Relationship Management
    Customer payments and data entry in VersiRent computer program
    Fill out receipt books, make journal entries.
    Inbound/Outbound Service calls
    Making deliveries or collecting merchandise
    Sales and merchandising
    All other duties deemed necessary by store management.

    Essential Requirements
    Excellent telephone skills
    Intermediate math skills
    Maintain professional appearance.
    Must be able to drive during day, night and meet all safety requirements. Must be able to explain terms of rental/lease agreement to customer.
    Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over telephone Must be able to work overtime.
    Must be proficient in product features, benefits; must be able to work on showroom floor.
    Must have proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates.

    General Physical Requirements
    Position routinely requires lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise 50-300 pounds
    Stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching, and grabbing as required.
    Must be able to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliance, and electronics Prolonged driving and standing.
    Must be able to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions.
