Senior Account Manager
A Western Pennsylvania processor and distributor of ancillary medical supplies is searching for a Senior Account Manager to prospect for new business in Western Pennsylvania, Western New York and the Cleveland area.
The Senior Account Manager will work with management identifying medical facilities in those areas that have not yet been penetrated by the company. This will require some overnight travel to the Cleveland and Buffalo areas.
This company has a significant presence in the hospitals in these areas but is looking for additional business opportunities with other medical facilities such as standalone surgical centers, physician offices, physical therapists etc. using non disposables. This is not a technical product offering.
Qualifications are: Previous experience calling on similar medical facilities, willingness to prospect and cold call, willingness to do some (15%) overnight travel. This is not managing existing accounts rather this is a hunter type position.
Base salary in the $90-100K range with potential bonus/commission opportunities as the position matures, car allowance and an excellent benefit program.
