Account Management Manager manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Manager ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Manager may set sales targets or quotas. May make suggestions for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Account Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Develop and maintain a territory sales plan that focuses on key accounts.
- Profile and penetrate key accounts by developing strategic goals and relationships.
- Demonstrate the unique features and benefits of our products.
- Identify and sell into new and existing process applications.
- Effectively utilize sales resources including demo equipment, presentations and joint sales calls.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

- Minimum of 3 years experience in Technical Sales or Technical College
- Degree Proven record in territory growth and management Experience in the process industries is a plus.
- Highly motivated and success driven.
- Fully developed tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent time and territory management skills. Extensive use of PPRD's proprietary CRM is an essential.
- Experience with Pressure Relief Devices, Control Valves, and Instrumentation is a PLUS!
