GENERAL PURPOSE
Focus on supporting assigned accounts, while also looking for new sales/business opportunities. Develop positive relationships and interactions with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, respond to inquiries, handle and resolve issues, and ultimately help to achieve sales targets and revenue goals. Help to facilitate and participate in cross-sell opportunities, new account prospecting, and sales calls. Develop knowledge of the company's products, product lines, and/or services; existing customers and potential customer landscape; consumers; the sales process; and industry trends.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Act as a primary point of contact for customers and address their inquiries and concerns promptly. Proactively provide information or respond to inquiries about accounts, products, and services or information concerning pricing, changes in service, discontinuance, shipping, etc.
· Collaborate with colleagues and internal groups (operations, logistics, product development, marketing) as needed to solve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and sales pipelines
· Utilize the various systems and processes such as the order process, Salesforce/Power BI, inventory management, logistics systems, supply/demand planning, etc.
· Analyze customer accounts to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
· Present and promote products or services to existing customers effectively
· Assist in preparing and delivering sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals on existing and new products and/or services. Educate clients on the benefits and features of the products and/or services
· Initiate and close sales calls with customers under sales management or senior team member guidance
· Generate regular reports on sales performance and account status. Interpret sales reports to leverage DFA’s position (e.g., ranking, ACV, market share, sales movement)
· Participate in meetings with the sales team, marketing, and product/service development teams to align strategies and offerings
· Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and customer needs
· May be accountable for the delivery of assigned volume, profit, and administrative targets for the assigned region or accounts
