    The Sales Account Representative plays a pivotal role in driving sales within the assigned vertical. This role works closely with the Vertical Sales Manager and Sales Specialist to identify, qualify, and pursue high value opportunities, as well as develops, and maintains long-term relationships with key decision-makers within the assigned vertical, understanding their mission to position our vehicles as the ideal solution.


    Essential Functions / Responsibility:

    Strategic

    • Be knowledgeable about vertical and Nomad solutions offerings.
    • Be knowledgeable vertical industry best practices and innovation.
    • Use the Nomad brand and voice in execution.
    • Support identification and development of new business accounts.
    • Research and supply competitive intelligence to Vertical Manager.
    • Effectively communicate our value proposition and demonstrate how our solutions can enhance the customers mission effectiveness.
    • Present proposals confidently, handle negotiations skillfully, and work towards closing deals within our average sales cycle of 1-2 years,

     People

    • Develop and maintain relationships with internal department leads, key customers, and vendor partners.
    • Collaborate with engineers and product experts to develop customized proposals that address clients' specific requirements and budgets.
    • Learn and execute Nomad’s sales methods and processes to deliver “Frictionless Customer Experience” and clearly defined and executable Sales Document Packages.
    • Support vertical manager to meet annual sales revenue goals.
    • Participate in regular knowledge sharing and performance feedback meetings
    • Serve as a Nomad ambassador, embodying the values and vision of the company in all interactions.

    Process

    • Follow and execute Nomad’s sales methods and processes to deliver “Frictionless Customer Experience” and clearly defined and executable Sales Document Packages.
    • Support Vertical Manager to meet annual vertical sales revenue goal, working within resource and budgetary constraints.
    • Support Vertical Manager in development of vertical and account planning, to include vertical performance, annual predictive planning, delivering predicted planning, vertical sales revenue closings, and delivery timelines.
    • Provide feedback and updates to Vertical Manager on tools and resources for sales organization being utilized, to include, but not limited to demo vehicles, ROM pricing tools, specification templates, proposal templates, configurator, past project photos, and videos.
    • Understand the theory and practical application of the HubSpot CRM tool.
    • Manage and maintain all account data in CRM with 100% documentation of account activities and interactions in the CRM.
    • Continuous self-educating to optimally utilize CRM tool.
    • Manage individual opportunities as assigned.
    • Promptly engage with inbound leads as assigned.

    Physical Demands:

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to handle, feel, reach, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
    • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and is occasionally required to sit.
    • The employee may occasionally lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Anything heavier than 50 pounds will require two people to lift / carry.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish individual colors.
    • The expectation of travel as required supporting marketing objects, to attend seminars, promotions, etc. Travel will be at least 50%.

     Working Environment:

    • Typical indoor office environment, long periods of computer-related work, constant interruptions, and high levels of stress at times.
    • The work environment is a partially environmentally controlled indoor environment. Depending upon the time of year, temperatures can fluctuate between 60F and 100F but is typically around 70F. There are times when working outside will be required.
    • The employee may be subjected to noise levels, ranging from low volume to loud and will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices from time to time, which will be provided.
    • The employee will be exposed to a variety of household/commercial chemicals that will require the employee to follow company rules/regulations outlined by that SDS.
    • All Team Members must wear provided OSHA approved eye protection at all times in manufacturing areas. The employee will be required to wear provided safety eyewear throughout the performance of their duties.

     Qualifications & Experience:

    • High diploma or GED. Further education in Sales/Marketing field highly desired.
    • 2 years of documented, successful experience in a Sales Professional role desired.
    • Experience in individual account management.
    • Evidence of CRM use and adherence.
    • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
