Patient Account Representative – Billing - Long term care
Position Summary - To review, edit and submit bills to third party payers, health insurance carriers, workers compensation and automobile insurance in a timely manner and in compliance with all Federal and State regulations and, within the terms of contractual relations between Bradford Regional Medical Center and managed care entities. Maintaining follow up on aging claims within each collection group.
Qualifications -
Education – High School diploma or equivalent
Experience – Two (2) years of health care related billing and collection experience – long term care experience highly preferred.
Skills Required - Must be able to work independently, meet deadlines and manage changing workloads. Must possess above average knowledge of billing and collection regulations and protocols.
