Account Representative, Sr. develops relationships with mid-sized clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses. Being an Account Representative, Sr. drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Additionally, Account Representative, Sr. maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback. Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Representative, Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     As an Account Representative you will have the opportunity to support the sales of the company with a primary focus in the upholstered furniture industry. The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought.

    So, what will you be doing as an Account Representative?

    • Meet and exceed sales goals by maintaining current accounts and developing additional growth within these accounts.
    • Continuously evaluate the market for new business and customer opportunities
    • Partner with the ECS manufacturing facilities to respond to customer needs and to build customer relationships.
    • Provide solution-based support to existing and potential customers.
    • Manage all aspects of customer expectations through being the primary point of contact at your serviced accounts.
    • Support and assist all inter-company team functions related to sales: credit, manufacturing, quality, customer service, etc.


    To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business-related field (preferred)
    • 3-5 years of successful sales experience
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and customer/supplier relationship principles
    • Daily travel within the NC region (80% of the time)
    • Fully competent in Microsoft Office suite

    • Sales experience in furniture and/or fabric industry
