Account Representative, Sr. develops relationships with mid-sized clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses. Being an Account Representative, Sr. drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Additionally, Account Representative, Sr. maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback. Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Representative, Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Account Representative (FT - Mississippi)The Blood Center is now interviewing for a full-time position in sales and marketing to recruit in Mississippi (Hancock, Harrison and Jackson County). We are looking for energetic, self-motivated professionals who would like to join our team and make an impact in our company. This position is responsible for scheduling and planning blood drives including publicity, donor recognition and education. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and own transportation. A degree in marketing and/or sales is preferred with at least one-year experience in either field.

DATE NEEDED: Immediately
POSITION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE Ensure that the annual blood collection goals are met by managing a specific territory within The Blood Center's service area. This includes directing and motivating volunteer chairpeople, coordinating the efforts of various blood center departments to ensure that the collection goals are met and function as a consultant both internally and externally to advise the most effective method for blood drive promotions and collections. Recruit minority donors in the eastern New Orleans area. Develop potential group leads and educate donor groups on the need for minority donors.
