Account Representative, Sr. develops relationships with mid-sized clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses. Being an Account Representative, Sr. drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Additionally, Account Representative, Sr. maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback. Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Representative, Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. About The Account Representative Program:
The Account Representative program is designed for individuals who are new to outside sales.
The program begins with a structured two-year training and developmental period. During this time, you will work full-time as an entry-level Outside Sales Representative, with a base bonus commission compensation plan.
Your development will include:
* Classroom-Based Learning
* Online Product Training
* Hands-On Practice, shoulder-to-shoulder with Divisional Trainers and experienced Sales Representatives
During this time, you will learn valuable skills such as:
* Prospecting and Cold-Calling Local Businesses
* Hands-on Product Demonstrations
* Transactional Selling vs. Systems Selling
* The Sales Cycle
* Relationship Building
* Developing and Maintaining a Book of Business
The end-goal of the program is to prepare you to transition into an Outside Sales role with Kimball Midwest.
