  • **Overview** Sell Frontline Marketing’s in-store display and marketing programs to Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) companies and their agencies with a primary focus on the grocery retail channel. Build relationships and influence key decision makers among established Frontline clients, and generate and develop new business opportunities. Prior experience selling to CPG companies is required, ideally brands from the HBC and grocery categories. Experience selling in-store marketing programs in the grocery channel a plus. **The incumbent(s) in this position should exhibit the following ACOSTA values:** • **People Minded** – Must show dignity and respect to all people • **Integrity** – Must exemplify the highest degree of ethical behavior • **Results Oriented** – Must show passion, pride and commitment to succeed • **Trust** – Must be honest, sincere and confident • **Teamwork** – Must build trusting relationships • **Innovation** – Must progress through a combination of creativity, common sense and vision • **Balance** – Must maintain an optimistic attitude and keep perspective on what is important in life **Responsibilities** **Essential Functions of this Position (list in order of most important to least important):** **1.** Develop, sell and execute against assigned CPG account list (current clients) **2.** Prospect, research, develop client relationships and sell-in new business **3.** Attend and participate in internal status and strategy meetings **4.** Mentor and assist in developing internal support staff **5.** Other job duties as assigned **Qualifications** **Minimum Education Requirements:** * Bachelor of Arts Degree **Experience Requirement (i.e. 5 yrs. category mgmt. or 3 yrs. food brokerage):** * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field * 5-8 years’ experience in a retail/merchandising/marketing environment * 1-3 years management experience in a retail/merchandising/marketing environment * Experience/knowledge of CPG (consumer packaged goods) and retail industry * Experience selling media or consumer marketing programs to CPG companies and agencies **Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements (i.e. “plan-a-gram” software expertise, presentation skills):** * Self-starter with good problem-solving abilities * Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with upper management * Well organized with ability to handle multiple projects * Solid knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Salesforce experience a plus * Track record as a sales person, managing a sizeable and diverse book of business, ideally $3MM of personal sales per year * Established relationships and contacts within the CPG industry (HBC, OTC, Food) a PLUS * Solid knowledge of the grocery channel and experience working with major grocery retailers a PLUS Acosta utilizes E-Verify for validatingthe ability to work in the United States for all job candidates.
