Being an Account Representative, Sr. - Technology Sales requires a bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Account Representative, Sr. - Technology Sales relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.   • Allegheny Surface Technology is an industry leader in stainless steel and high nickel alloy surface finishing. Based in Lewis Run, PA, we offer both shop and field services that include: electropolishing, passivation, pickling, mechanical polishing, equipment refurbishment, pressure vessel modification/repair, and equipment inspection and testing. Allegheny Surface Technology provides surface finishing for a variety of chambers, hoppers, tanks and components along with tubing and fittings. We can process components for industries including pharmaceutical, chemical, food & beverage, electronic, architectural, automotive and more.

    Sales Representative, Field Services

    Expectations:

    • The ability to travel on short notice, up to 50% of the time
    • Required to work out of Lewis Run, PA office when not traveling
    • Highly motivated and have a strong drive to succeed
    • Present, promote and sell services using solid value propositions
    • Strategic thinking and an ability to prioritize the immediate tasks
    • Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
    • Reach out to target/prospects through cold calling & attraction campaigns
    • Ability to listen to the concerns of customers and be able to address their needs
    • Manage status, next steps and opportunities with prospects and targets
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets/KPIs and outcomes within schedule
    • Analyze the market's potential, track sales and status reports
    • Attendance at regional and national trade show(s) as determined by Sales Management.
    • Eager to learn and become a technical expert
    • Work collaboratively with the Sales Managers and all internal support teams

    Experience:

    • Confidence and strong motivation to succeed in cold-calling and successfully close deals
    • Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network
    • Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers
    • High work ethic – driven in taking initiatives, multi-tasking, prioritization, and follow through
    • High ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
    • Intermediate computer skills including experience with Excel, Word and Outlook

    Education and/or B2B Selling Experience Required:

    • Bachelor's degree with experience in technical B2B selling required or completion of 2-year College or Technical school and 2 years of experience in technical B2B selling.
    • Completion of sales training in consultative or solution selling.
    • Proven successful sales record.
    • Chemical and/or metallurgical knowledge preferred.

    Job-Type:

    • Full-time salaried position.
    • Pay based upon education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
