    We are currently looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our products to K-12 education customers by engaging with customers via cold-calling and responding to inquiries to create new leads.    

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a self-starter attitude while initiating contact and engagement with prospects through cold-calling or responding to inquiries to create new leads and sales openings.
    • Perform regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitate communication with prospects.
    • Move solid leads through the funnel.
    • Stay up to date with all CTL products and services.
    • Book meetings with prospects and leads through sales campaigns, including sales sequences, emails, and outbound phone calls.
    • Follow up on inbound leads.
    • Utilize CTL's technology platforms, including Salesforce (CRM) and Outreach (sales engagement platform), to manage tasks, document customer interactions and information, and prioritize activity.
    • Research customer contact information and firmographic data to support prospecting efforts.
    • Work closely with CTL sales and marketing teams on sales campaigns and prioritizing activity.

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Attention to detail with the ability to efficiently capture all data in CRM.
    • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and articulate a broad range of new technologies and products with customers.
    • Excellent and persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
    • Highly motivated with the ability to stay positive and focused on account development goals and opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong sense of urgency and desire to win.
    • Excel at working independently to solve problems and make decisions through a combination of analysis, communication, experience, and independent judgment.
    • Enjoy working hard and looking for challenges in a flexible environment; able to act and react as necessary, even if limited information is available.
