     About the Team / Business Unit

    Quality Engineering and Assurance practice is one of the largest practices in Cognizant and is responsible to engineer quality for Cognizant’s customers across industries. To build in the quality-oriented mindset, practices and solutions from the beginning of any project with the intent of building the right system for customers’ end users and in the right way; with Cognizant’s ‘right first time’ approach to the IT systems. QEA provides customers with the Testing, compliance, NFT and quality processes consulting with the aim of maximizing the return on investments with reducing the cost to quality. A technology driven department that partners with leading providers of IT tools and methodologies in Quality Engineering and Assurance space.

    About You

    You will work with various customers to provide test automation solutions for the applications ranging from home grown systems to product implementations, identify the test automation possibilities, evaluate tools base with customers and recommend a strategy most suitable to achieve customers’ goals to achieve quality. You will be working with the practice to increase the base, quality and skills of the resources in your team and department by identifying the training needs and coordinating, conducting them.

    Your Key Result Areas

    • At all times comply with the project standards on testing policies, criteria, strategy, and procedures.
    • Review and analyse requirements and design specifications to create a comprehensive and accurate requirements matrix to serve as the foundation for the development of test cases and test design.
    • Provide feedback on the documentation for quality and completeness against requirements.
    • Analyse requirements to identify and rectify errors and omissions that have been missed during the requirement, design, specification, and development phases.
    • Create accurate and complete defect descriptions.
    • Create, enhance, and update test cases.
    • Execute test cases and scripts, re-test and Regression Test and report results.
    • Participate and provide input to the product risk analysis.
    • Participate in planning and estimation of test effort.
    • Provide input to scope and approach for a given test i.e., test techniques to be applied.
    • Review and contribute to test documentation and test plans.
    • Review and document test coverage for accurate planning of testing duration 

    Requirements

    • 5 Yrs of Experience in Quality Engineering / Assurance with 3 years of experience in the Test Automation.
    • Good to have experience with gathering and understanding requirements and converting them to test scenarios/test cases
    • Extensive Test Management experience using tools like Jira, TFS and Azure Cloud
    • Good knowledge in scripting with Test Automation Tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor, SOAP UI, HP UFT, Test Complete, Worksoft, Tosca.
    • Strong Communication written and verbal, good Interpersonal skills.
    • Must be fluent in English and Danish verbal and written communication skills

            The Test Analyst is expected to have the following Basic Certifications:
