Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers administrative support to the AgCountry insurance function.
• Schedules and prepares files for appointments. Orders supplies.
• Maintains complete and updated historical customer files, including current and transfer files.
• Performs and/or coordinates accurate and timely keying and printing of forms and reports.
• Assists the farm accounting function with miscellaneous processing.
• Keys and prints branch and regional farm accounting statements and reports. Distributes reports to customers after review.
• Scans data and maintains accounting files.
• Prepares and distributes balance sheet letters and related correspondence to customers.
• Assists with and reviews information returns.
  
• Supports operations within our tax function.
• Schedules customer meetings, prepares files for appointments, records statistics and maintains complete and up-to-date historical customer files.
• Maintains tax files according to procedure, including current tax files and transfer files for tax accounts.
• E-Files tax returns and tracks status of e-filed returns. Enters and prints forms and reports for the tax department.
• Copies, assembles, and distributes forms and reports to customers and files.
• Maintains customer depreciation schedules.
• Reviews returns and assists with timely changes.
• Maintains and expands tax, farm accounting and/or insurance knowledge and technical competency. Works with supervisor and the association Education Department to further develop knowledge through continuing education. Retains and acquires expertise in other computer applications and completes special studies.

• Associate degree in an administrative or business-related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of the agriculture industry.
