Account Representative

• Job Summary:

The Account Support Representative will interact with the company’s clients while providing support to Account Managers on case management tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assists Account Managers with daily tasks and client requests.
• Processes and distributes daily reports to clients.
• Interacts with clients via telephone or email to provide support and complete case management tasks.
• Performs data entry or research projects as assigned.
• Performs quality control audits between data entry and insurance documents.
• Fields client questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the Account Manager.
• Maintains client accounts and records of client interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions for recurring tasks
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
• Insurance knowledge is preferred but not required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
