Patient Services Representative (PSR)

We are looking to add a Full Time PSR to our practice. Candidates should be eager to learn, enjoy working with people of all ages, and have great attention to detail. Preference will be given to those with medical office/Chiropractic experience but is not required. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate who is looking to enter into this exciting field of healthcare!

Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, completing internal spreadsheets for daily paperwork, assisting Office Manager as needed in additional tasks, and providing coverage for vacations.

Candidate will work directly with and report to Office Manager. There will be opportunity for the right candidate to train into becoming a Chiropractic Assistant under Dr. Thomas. Must have availability to work until 6:00pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. There is opportunity for a 4 day work week except for when covering vacations. This position is expected to average 32-40 hours per week. Rate of pay for this position is $17-19/hour with potential to earn more if you choose to be certified as a chiropractic assistant.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Ability to communicate professionally with patients, providers, office manager, and outside departments.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office Products.
• Proficiency in using computers and typing.
• Proficiency in answering phones, placing calls on hold, reviewing voicemails, and returning calls while using computer to assist in patient inquiries.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
