Account Services Representative, Sr. provides superior customer service to account holders by responding to questions about their account and processing transactions and fills in as teller as needed. May process account openings, closings, and distributions following standard procedures and regulations. Being an Account Services Representative, Sr. resolves customer issues and escalates complex cases to the appropriate bank staff. Knowledgeable about bank products and services. Additionally, Account Services Representative, Sr. identifies cross-selling opportunities as appropriate, and may refer customers to other bank resources. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Services Representative, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. SUMMARY
Follows detailed and standardized procedures including processing Indirect Auto Loan and Mortgage Account Opening, Check Processing, Member Share Drafts, Remote Deposits, Closed Accounts, Insurance Documents, and End of month GL Settlements. Follows detailed and standardized procedures including processing ancillary Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Claims. Performs other Account Services duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties as assigned:
Requires a familiarity with a wide variety of concepts, practices and procedures that rely on experience and sound judgment for compliance, execution and mitigation of risk. Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and has the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and/or projects as needed.
Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of computer equipment and software required including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
The salary range for this position is $20.12/hr. - $25.25/hr. and is based on experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
