Intermediate level of knowledge of third party payer reimbursement. Ability to organize and coordinate assignments independently. Strong communications, interpersonal time management, organizational skills. High level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy in interacting with patients, staff and insurance carriers. Minimum of 3 years’ experience with health care billing and/or follow-up, in an outpatient health care setting. Experience using a registration, billing and/or collection system required.
