Accountant maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for recording the daily financial activity to ensure accurate accounting records by using Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures. This position will focus on daily processing of accounts payable and vendor master data. This position will also assist in monthly and annual reporting related to financial data to include financial statements, forecasts, budgets and special reports. The ability to work independently with many different Plant disciplines is a critical component of success as is the ability to ensure accuracy of reports and analysis under tight time deadlines. Additionally, being able to multi-task and working on projects with little direction is required.
