Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, corporate accounting, and financial analysis.

Duties:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making processes
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Qualifications:
- Working experience in Accounting in the retailing industry preferred
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
