We are actively seeking a full-time experienced Accountant to join our accounting team in our Destin, Florida office. The accountant will be responsible for reviewing timesheets, accounts payable and managing consultant invoices. In the future, this role will be responsible for some project accounting. This position requires attention to detail, punctuality, ability to be flexible and great oral and written communication.  
This is an on-site position that may require travel from time to time to our other offices.  
 

Qualifications 

• Preferred candidates will hold a degree related to accounting or finance or professional experience. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, experience in Ajera is a plus! 
• Preferred candidates will have experience in the construction field. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP  
• Prior project accounting experience is a plus.  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.  

Requirements  

• Accounts payable - Invoice entry, invoice payment and reconciliation 
• Assist with monthly credit card reconciliation. 
• Collect invoices on client billing and manage consultant invoices.  
• Manage certificate of insurance  
• Review overhead timesheets across the company. 
• Review weekly employee expense reports. 
• Responsible for some project accounting in the future.  
• Assist with special projects as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
