Accountant maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Being an Accountant compiles financial data to aid more senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Assists in analyzing current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Additionally, Accountant typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Accountant work is closely managed. We are actively seeking a full-time experienced Accountant to join our accounting team in our Destin, Florida office. The accountant will be responsible for reviewing timesheets, accounts payable and managing consultant invoices. In the future, this role will be responsible for some project accounting. This position requires attention to detail, punctuality, ability to be flexible and great oral and written communication.
This is an on-site position that may require travel from time to time to our other offices.
