Accountant maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Being an Accountant compiles financial data to aid more senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Assists in analyzing current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Additionally, Accountant typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Accountant work is closely managed. Cash Management & Processing - deposits/transfers (cash or assets), transaction research, rebalancing, TrustWeb updates and problem resolution
Open and fund sub accounts
Rebalance portfolios per direction of PS/PM/POM/Advisor
Grant processing including letter management, Charity checks, grant reports, including regional Client M accounts
Full administrative support for Client M regional philanthropic accounts including money movement
Fiduciary administration of overdrafts, minimum required distributions (MRD), CM tests, DAFs/ODAM, and scrubs & projects
Support accurate & timely ARQ & KYC refresh completion
Maintain all documentation in FIRST including uploaded documents
Respond to auditor requests
Handle account consolidations and terminations, execute termination instructions, stop trade, account liquidation
Annual valuation process including regional Client M accounts
CRT/CLT relationship administration including Client M regional accounts
Account termination
