Position Overview

Process ac c o u nt s payable and receivable; mai nt a ins associated records.

Pay Rate: $22-$26 per hour

Essential Job Duties

• Process ac c o u nt s receivables invoices and credits.
• Records and invoices credit and cash received and prepares bank deposit.
• Provides customers with ac c o u nt information.
• Prepares vendor payables.
• Enters and processes purchase orders.

• Matches and enters stock receipts and receivables.
• Prints reports and price books.
• Checks credit applications and responds to credit reference calls.
• Assists sales personnel with quotes, order entry and inter-store transfers.
• Provides clerical support by filing, sorting and opening mai l.
• Complies with Company's attendance policy by mai nt aining regular and predictable attendance
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Minimum education required - High School Diploma
• Minimum experience required - 2 years ac c o u nt s receivable
• Special skills required - Must be proficient using calculator and CRT, experience using computerized ac c o u nt s receivable system, good oral communication and telephone skills and basic ac c o u nt i n g principles.
• Physical demands include lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on a random basis, standing, walking or sitting for extended periods of time, and bending or stooping.
