Accounting Clerk jobs in Harrisburg, PA
Accounting Clerk performs routine accounting activities such as data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. Reviews, codes, and verifies transactions including billings, invoices, checks, and journal entries. Being an Accounting Clerk assists in completing moderately complex calculations using spreadsheets and other software tools. Reconciles accounts and bank statements. Additionally, Accounting Clerk has a basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Accounting Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Set-up new FG materials and all necessary components and maintains records of materials used, throughput and yields.
Controls WIP inventory and does monthly physical inventoryAnalysis WIP Usage (Semi-finished and bulk)
Reconcile IBS and As400 for Semi-finished (film)Reviews computerized inventory of raw materials against present and anticipated manufacturing work orders.
Correct Bom in all As400 and IBS systems
Secondary Production and A/P clerk duties
Work with administrator, scheduling and manufacturing personnel to keep computer system updated.
Enter sample production orders and analyze material usage.
Review and correct offset abnormal report
Maintain material tables in IBS and As400Required Experience
Previous data entry experience
Personal computer experience
Mainframe computer experience
Good organizational skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Required Education
High school graduate or equivalent
