Polyglass Coatings Limited LLC, is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk reports to the Controller and is responsible for providing administrative and clerical duties. This includes (but not limited to) accurately monitoring and posting invoices and purchase orders, processing vendor payments using check runs, electronic transfer and, managing and recording salesman expenses.
This position will provide administrative assistance and support for Accounts Payable and Receivables.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
· Prepare, monitor, and post all incoming invoices and purchase orders.
· Process check runs ensuring payments are received with vendor terms.
· Process electronic transfers and send out remittance statements to vendors.
· Postings to General Ledger.
· Organize and maintain an accurate filing system.
· Download/receive transactions to appropriate customer accounts.
· Report to customers monthly statements of accounts.
· Balance accounts & report to management any accounts out of payment terms.
· Assist Controller in month and year end process as requested.
· Communicate and coordinate effectively with Controller.
The successful candidate will have:
· Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills, high attention to detail and dedication to quality, good judgement and capable of acting independently, team oriented and willing to “pitch in” as needed, strong command of computer skills is an asset.
· Strong computer skills are also a must have.
· Due to the nature of the position extensive background checks will be conducted on the successful applicants prior to employment.
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week.
Salary: $35,000.00 - $37,500.00 per year
