Position Summary

Experienced Tax Preparer with excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and positive attitude needed for growing local accounting firm located in Richland, WA. Responsibilities include preparing Federal and State Tax Returns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Filing of State and Federal Tax Returns
• Ability to prepare tax returns to ensure accuracy
• Client Communication
• Strong attention to detail and ability to use independent judgement

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• 2 Years preparing Federal 1040, 1120S, 1120, 1065 Tax Returns (Needed)
• QuickBooks Experience (Preferred)
• 2 years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or similar work environment (Preferred)
• Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Analytical skills with particular attention to detail

Compensation

• Competitive pay based on experience. Pay range is $22.00 - $28.00.
