Accounting Clerk

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a knack for Excel We are seeking an Accounting Clerk who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses experience in utilizing Excel for data analysis and reconciliation tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable entries

- Utilize Excel proficiently to organize, analyze, and reconcile financial data

- Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies

- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes

- Generate financial reports and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

- Collaborate with the accounting team to support various financial projects and initiatives

- Follow established accounting principles and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas) for data analysis and reconciliation purposes

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

- Ability to work with attention to detail and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)

- Familiarity with financial statements and reporting

- Prior experience in reconciliations or audit-related tasks
