JDK Management Co. is seeking to hire a Controller / Director of Accounting to oversee all financial activities and provide leadership to the accounting team. This position will perform and provide oversight to core financial processes, including accurate monthly financial statements and reports, timely processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable, related tax documents and payments, and other daily accounting tasks. A demonstrated leader, the Controller / Director of Accounting will possess the ability to develop employees and foster cohesive teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively. The ability to advance the JDK culture in a collaborative, family atmosphere is essential to the Controller / Director of Accounting role.

Controller / Director of Accounting Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, required; CPA certification, preferred
• At least 5 years in a senior accounting position with proven experience as a Controller or similar role
• Experience in the hospitality and/or services industries, a plus
• Proficiency with technology including advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel and accounting software, preferably NetSuite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a diverse, multifaceted, multi-location organization, a plus
• Demonstrated community involvement, a plus
